ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. - At least one woman and one man are being sought in connection with numerous burglaries and thefts that have occurred recently in the northwest St. Johns County, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said that over the last month, the burglars have broken into vehicles and entered unlocked vehicles, and removed purses and wallets, among other items.
The burglaries have occurred from Racetrack Road to State Road 16. In addition, a purse was stolen from inside a church and a wallet was removed from a table of a Fruit Cove restaurant, deputies said.
A woman was captured on surveillance using and trying to use stolen credit cards in St. Johns and Duval counties, deputies said. The woman was seen wearing a black sun dress in the three photos with black flip-flops. She appears to be in her mid- to late-30s and has long blonde hair.
In one of the photos, the white woman is with a thin, black man, deputies said.
In addition, there are two possible vehicle descriptions involved, including a medium-sized light green SUV and a silver Jeep.
