2 women killed when tree falls on car

GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. – Two women were killed when a tree fell on their car as they were driving in Glynn County on Wednesday morning, according to the Glynn County Fire Department.

The accident happened about 10:30 a.m. on Blythe Island Highway, just outside of Blythe Island County Park.

Kaleigh Miller (pictured below), 22, was driving the car. The passenger's identification was not immediately released.

Friends say Miller has worked at Michael's Deli and Seafood in Brunswick for more than four years. They said the Brunswick High School graduate was a mother of three, including a newborn.

Co-workers of Miller said they knew something was wrong Wednesday when she didn't show up for work, because they said she was never late.

Miller's mother spoke to Channel 4 on Wednesday afternoon, saying she would do whatever she can to stay strong for her grandchildren in the wake of this tragedy.
