The Jacksonville Sheriff's Officer investigation revealed that Fuller and Hardaman, who had grown up together as friends, were driving in a car when Fuller shot the Hardaman in the head and dumped his body on the side of the road.  Fuller then drove away from the area.

Assistant State Attorneys Peter Overstreet and John Cannizzaro prosecuted this case.
