BRADFORD COUNTY, Fla. – Three men were arrested early Tuesday morning in connection with marijuana distribution, according to the Bradford County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said they conducted two search warrants about 4 a.m. to conclude an undercover investigation into the marijuana distribution network. Detectives said they received complaints about the sale and distribution of large amounts of marijuana out of two separate homes in the county.

An investigation was launched regarding the illegal purchase, sale and distribution of marijuana, and detectives said they discovered that three people living in the county would obtain large shipments of marijuana. They said the three would then work independently to distribute the shipments throughout the county.
For several months, deputies said they used several confidential informants and undercover agents to purchase felony amounts of marijuana from the two homes.
Detectives arrested Maurice Hankerson, 33, Tressen Risby, 22, and Doug Holland, 41, all of Starke. They also seized two vehicles used in the trafficking and sale of the marijuana. More than 3 pounds of marijuana, more than $2,200 in cash and a firearm was recovered during the investigation.
