JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A 56-year-old man pleaded guilty Thursday afternoon to charges of attempted capital sexual battery, lewd or lascivious molestation, lewd or lascivious exhibition, two counts of use of child in a sexual performance, and six counts of possession of child pornography.

Between April and July 2012 U.S. attorneys said Medford McCullough engaged in inappropriate sexual activity with two child victims.

During that time McCullough touched the victims and made them pose nude in sexual positions while he took pictures, according to the State Attorney's Office.

McCullough was sentenced to 40 years in prison with a 25-year minimum mandatory, followed by life probation. Attorneys said he was also deemed a sexually violent predator.
