JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – An 8-month-old boy was found Sunday morning in a pool at his grandfather's house on West Leafdale Circle, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
It is not known how long the child, later identified as Karsyn Mangum, was in the pool. The medical examiner will determine that, authorities said.
Police say there was a party at the house Friday night and the child was seen there.
Police said the incident appears to be an accidental drowning, but they questioned people who were at the party.
No charges were filed at this time and the investigation is still active.
