After 3rd suicide, counselors at Keystone Heights Junior/Senior High

KEYSTONE HEIGHTS, Fla. – A team of trained grief counselors and a psychologist from the Clay County School District was at Keystone Junior/Senior High School on Wednesday morning to help students cope with the suicide of a student.

It was the third recent suicide of a Clay County teenager.

An assembly was held towards the end of the day to communicate that resources are available. The Clay County Sheriff's Office has been working in close coordination with the school to ensure student safety.

Counselors will back at the school all day Thursday, and any students or families wishing to talk to someone anonymously can call 800-273-TALK.
