Both men are 22, but were 17 at the time of the crime and attended Bacon County High School with Moore.  They were arrested Sunday and booked into the Bacon County Jail.

Authorities at the time said whoever had killed the girl had also tried to burn the home to hide the evidence.

Alma police, who said they had investigated dozens of witnesses, collected numerous pieced of evidence and spent many sleepless nights, released this statement:

"We believe that this is the beginning of closure for the family of Jasmine Moore and for the numerous law enforcement personnel who have worked unselfishly on this case."
