Arrest made in cabbie's killing, family says

Stuart Carson shot, killed earlier this month on Northside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The family of cab driver Stuart Carson confirmed Wednesday night that police notified them an arrest was made in his killing. Police have called a 10 a.m. news conference to announce a homicide arrest.

Kelly Carson, Stuart Carson's wife, said she received a call from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday saying there had been an arrest.

Rohbanni Wilson, 23, was arrested and booked into the Duval County jail Wednesday night on a murder charge.

Wilson made his first appearance in court Thursday morning and was ordered held without bail. His next court date is July 10.

Stuart Carson, 43, was sitting in his cab on West 27th Street on the Northside on June 7 when someone shot and killed him.
