JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – It seems like people are doing everything online these days, including writing to Santa Claus.
Parents who Google search "letters to Santa" will see dozens of websites that will allow their children to email Santa their wish list.

But some of these sites are more naughty than nice.
"What parents need to do first is check that website," said Diane Kaplan, of the Better Business Bureau.
The bureau is warning parents about websites that could potentially do more harm than good.
"They need to check it over to make sure that it's not a site that might lead to other sites that aren't for children," Kaplan said.
Kaplan said parents should limit the amount of personal information their child provides, check websites for adult content and check the links.
Kaplan also said that legitimate Santa Claus websites shouldn't require more than a child's first name and perhaps an email address.
"The best advice for parents is that if your kids want to write to Santa online, monitor them as they do so," Kaplan said.
