JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Black Friday holiday shopping rush is on!
Online backlash and angry Tweets couldn't stop some stores across the country from opening their doors early this year.

Stores opened around 8pm Thursday night, but there were other retailers who welcomed customers earlier than that.
One Best Buy store on the Southside opened its doors at 6 p.m. Thursday.
"We've definitely got all hands on deck," said Best Buy Sales manager Brian Huffman.
Huffman says they've been prepping the store since last Friday, making sure Thanksgiving Day shoppers could easily find their doorbuster deals on TVs, cell phones and tablets.
"We have the surface tablets which are $199.99. Just an incredible deal," Huffman said.
The National Retail Federation estimates 140 million people will shop online and in the stores this holiday weekend, a small dip compared to 147 million last year.
About 33 million people are expected to shop Thanksgiving day.
Kmart and other big-box stores will stay open through Friday night.
