BP store robber sought by police

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police in Jacksonville are looking for a man they said robbed a BP convenience store at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon.

Officers were called to the store in the 7200 block of Lem Turner Road on the Northside just after 2:30 p.m.

They said the man pointed a handgun at the cashier and ordered her to open the cash register. The man grabbed money and ran out of the store.

The robber is described as a white man in his early 20s, armed with a large black semi-automatic handgun.
