BRUNSWICK, Ga. - A pool of 76 potential jurors will report to a Brunswick courtroom next week so attorneys can select a final jury to hear the death penalty trial of a man charged with beating his father and seven others to death inside a mobile home four years ago.

Prosecutors and defense attorneys spent just over three weeks questioning potential jurors about their views on the death penalty and prior knowledge of the case against 25-year-old Guy Heinze Jr. The judge declared the pool large enough to pick a final dozen jurors plus alternates after a 76th potential juror was qualified Monday.

Heinze has pleaded not guilty in the August 2009 slayings of his father and seven members of an extended family found dead inside the mobile home they all shared.
