The fire is located two miles north of State Road 21 near Varnes Lake. It was on the impact range at Camp Blanding, which is inaccessible to heavy equipment do to the live ammunition that may be present, the spokeswoman said.

There are no structures in danger.

Northwest winds may cause smoke to drift toward State Road 21, and drivers are urged to use caution in the area.
