LAKE CITY, Fla. – When a Columbia County deputy saw drugs in plain view in a car after a traffic stop on Saturday, a 31-year-old Lake City man was arrested on multiple charges.
According to the Sheriff's Office, Rodgerick Everett was stopped just before 1 p.m. on County Road 245. When Deputy Shayne Foote saw what he believed to be illegal drugs, he arrested Everett and searched the him and the vehicle, finding 10 bags of marijuana and one bag of cocaine.

Everett was booked into the Columbia County Detention Facility on charges of possession of cocaine with intent to sell, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence. He was ordered held on $62,000 bond.
