CSX train carrying liquor derails in Ga.

NICHOLLS, Ga. - CSX says one of its Intermodal trains going from Memphis, Tenn., to Savannah, Ga., on what's called the Bow Line derailed Thursday afternoon in Nicholls, which is northwest of Waycross.

The derailment happened about 1 p.m.

Fifteen cars jumped the tracks and several overturned, including three shipping containers that were loaded with liquor.

There was spillage, and the cleanup is expected to continue into Friday.

No one was hurt in the derailment.

The cause is under investigation.
