Deputies try to ID man, woman who stole laptop

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies in Clay County are asking for the public's help in identifying a man and a woman who stole a laptop and damaged several others at a BJ's Wholesale Club in March.

The theft happened about 2:30 p.m. March 18 at the store in the 500 block of Blanding Boulevard.

Deputies said the man was seen pulling on several laptops until one came loose from the display. The woman put the laptop, a Samsung Model 530U4B, into a large purse she was carrying, deputies said. She then left the area first and the man followed several seconds later.

The man is described as bald with a small goatee. He was wearing a white tank top and blue jeans.

The woman was wearing what appears to be a flowered dress and bright pink house slippers.
