PORT CANAVERAL, Fla. - A distress call at sea ended with a life-saving rescue from a Disney cruise ship.
A passenger aboard the Disney Dream sent WKMG-TV pictures after the ship responded to a distress call from two people on a small boat stranded in the middle of the ocean.
The ship was able to launch a lifeboat and bring the two on board. Disney officials said the two needed medical attention, food and water-but both people are expected to be OK.
The ship returned to Port Canaveral on Thursday morning with the two on board.
