Authorities obtain 26 warrants

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies served more than 20 Flagler County residents with arrest warrants on Tuesday after a two-month undercover investigation to identify local drug dealers, the Flagler County Sheriff's Office said.

The investigation, dubbed "Operation Spring Cleaning," involved the FCSO's Narcotics Enforcement Team, which was assisted by the U.S. DEA agents, State Attorney R.J. Larizza's Office and the Bunnell Police Department.

"We are determined to be a roadblock for this activity in our community," said Flagler County Sheriff James L. Manfre.

During the two-month period, undercover law enforcement said they were able to buy marijuana, oxycodone and crack cocaine from street dealers in Bunnell, Flagler Beach and Palm Coast. One arrest warrant was obtained for a Deland resident.

In total, 26 warrants were obtained and 15 people were arrested. Three of the suspects were incarcerated, deputies said.

"Many of the names on the warrant list may be familiar to local residents," said Manfre. "As long as these folks continue these illegal sales, we will continue to
arrest them. This operation has interrupted the local illegal drug scene and more arrests can be expected."
