According to a police report, Brunner, who was also a coach at the school, and the student would regularly communicate via cellphone. Deputies said it started in 2013 and continued through most of 2014.

The two had been exchanging pictures through the app Snapchat, according to the report.

"Mr. Brunner admitted that he and (the teen) just had a 'Snapchat' relationship but that it was nothing graphic," the report reads.

It also says a friend of the teen's saw the two together at RV City for the Georgia-Florida football game Nov. 1 in Jacksonville and "observed (the teen) sitting in Mr. Brunner's lap."

That prompted deputies to get involved and look into the phones of both Brunner and the teen. That eventually led to an interview where deputies said Brunner confessed to having sex with the teen.

"The weekend of the Florida/Georgia game, Adam admitted to going back to (the teen's) house with her and having sexual intercourse with her twice," the report reads.
