JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two years ago Tuesday, 16-year-old Tiphne Hollis was shot and killed on the Westside. Her killing remains unsolved.
The Ed White sophomore's family and dozens of others marked the occasion with a demonstration outside the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office on Tuesday afternoon.

They held signs that read "Justice for Tiphne Hollis" and yelled chants for justice as they walked, saying they want to promote love and peace throughout the streets of Jacksonville.
Hollis was killed when someone in a passing car fired on the car she was in with relatives.
The family voiced their frustrations that the crime remains unsolved.
"To bring peace into Jacksonville and show others around the world that there are people that really care and that Tiphne is going to make a difference," Hollis' grandmother, Elouise Whitaker, said. "Her death is not in vain."
Hollis' family said they know the teen would want them to march and fight for justice, and they're still holding out hope that someone will come forward with more information about her killing.
