"Out in this area, it's a rural area, water is our biggest challenge," said Jason Boree with Clay County Fire Rescue.

No one was home when the fire broke out but it's believed they were nearby at a relative's home.  "There were sleeping at a family member's house. When a family member arrived home they saw their house on fire," said Boree.

The cause remains under investigation and the home was deemed a loss.  The Red Cross is providing assistance to the family.
