Police still seeking leads in 2015 deadly house party shooting

Shooting at First Coast High School graduation party remains unsolved

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A deadly shooting at a First Coast High School graduation party in April 2015 remains unsolved more than 18 months later, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.

Football player Johnnel Johnson was shot and killed at the house party in Arlington early on the morning of April 25.

Another victim was hospitalized in the shooting on Dawnridge Road South, just off University Club Boulevard.

Police said a fight broke out at the party and Johnson was shot multiple times. Sources told News4Jax at the time that Johnson was a junior at  First Coast and a cornerback on the football team.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking for help from the Jacksonville community to solve the murder.
