JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Duval County jury deliberated 30 minutes on Friday before finding LeCorey Kedrae Stinson, 20, guilty on two counts of sexual battery.

In April 2011, Stinson raped a 16-year-old girl. He was a casual acquaintance of the victim. While the two were hanging out, Stinson asked the victim for a hug. While hugging, Stinson wanted to kiss her, but the victim resisted his advances. In return, Stinson became enraged and forced her to have sex.

During the trial, two other teenage girls testified how Stinson had sexually abused them as well.

"Stinson's motive and plan to rape the victim became quite apparent after her and the two other teenage girls testified," said Assistant State Attorney Stacie French. ASA Terence Martin also prosecuted the case.

Stinson faces life in prison. He will be sentenced the week of April 15, 2013.
