JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - AmeriHealth Caritas plans to open an operations center early next year in Jacksonville.
According to the Financial News & Daily Record, the location would bring 300-400 jobs to the area. A company spokeswoman told the Daily Record the goal is to have the center operational in the spring.
"We are definitely a growing company," spokeswoman Michelle Davidson said. "Jacksonville is a prominent location for a service center. It has an excellent employee pool for the skill set we need."
The jobs have been posted on AmeriHealth's website and the Daily Record reports a call center open house for applicants later this month.
The operations center is expected to be located in Baymeadows.
