Health services company to bring 500 new jobs to Jacksonville

Formativ Health to lease, build out 65,000-square-foot office on Belfort Road

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Formativ Health will be bringing 500 new jobs to Jacksonville within the next 18 months, the physician management services company and Mayor Lenny Curry announced Tuesday afternoon. 

The organization, which was founded in January by health care provider Northwell Health, will lease will and build out 65,000 square feet of office space on Belfort Road for a new patient access services center.

“No one can deny the momentum that is building in Jacksonville, especially in the health and life science sector,” Curry said. “As a company that supports the medical community by making their operations more efficient and productive, Formativ Health will enhance Jacksonville’s presence in this all-important sector of our economy.”

Formativ will start training staff in February and the begin partial operations in April. The build-out is expected to be completed by mid-2018.

The company offers comprehensive management services to assist physician practices, allowing physician groups and independent physicians to improve financial health, adapt to changing payment models, increase physician productivity and positively impact patient experiences.
