JACKSONVILLE, FLa. – Homeowners with curbside collection can place their trees -- free of all ornaments and lights -- curbside for collection with their normal yard waste.
Apartment and condominium residents of Duval County can drop them off free of charge at Advanced Disposal's Old Kings Road Landfill through Saturday, Jan. 12. A designated roll-off container will be located behind the scale house for acceptance of Christmas trees. All trees must be completely bare of all ornaments and lights.

The landfill at 8540 Old Kings Road North is open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 7 a.m. to noon on Saturday. This Saturday, the landfill will remain open until 6 p.m. for acceptance of trees.
