National Guardsman Tyler Mapel, 21, was killed March 16 in a crash at Beach and Kernan boulevards while he was delivering pizza.

Troopers said Summers had been driving a Ford Mustang when he ran a red light and hit Mapel's car head-on.

Summers' blood alcohol level was .088, just over the legal limit, but it was taken five hours after the crash, due to his own injuries.

Summers is being held at the Duval County Jail on $100,000 bond.
