Neighbors open doors for 43rd Spring Tour of Homes

Explore architecture of Riverside, Avondale neighborhoods

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – For the 43rd year, neighbors in the city’s Riverside and Avondale neighborhoods are opening their doors this weekend to visitors in support of Riverside Avondale Preservation’s largest fundraiser.

The annual Spring Tour of Homes is an opportunity for people to check out the architecture and culture of one of Jacksonville’s historic districts. This year’s event features 11 homes, three commercial locations and multiple featured locations.

“We will be proudly showing off our neighborhood to locals and visitors,” Home Tour chairperson Joy Walker said. “From new to restored, from a ‘before’ house to a ‘design house,’ charming bungalows to riverfront estates, you don't want to miss this exciting weekend tour and fabulous tour sites.”
