Police: Cafeteria worker attacks supervisor at school

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Jacksonville school cafeteria worker was arrested after attacking his supervisor, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Leon Emanuel Whaley, 23, became upset while his supervisor was giving instructions to the employees at Louis Sheffield Elementary and started arguing with her, police said.

Whaley got in 47-year-old Jacqueline Dorrell's face, yelled at her, punched her with a closed fist and pulled her hair, according to the police report.

Witnesses said Whaley started the argument and the fight.

Whaley is hearing-impaired. His mother came to the school to interpret information from police.

The principal requested a trespass warning against Whaley, who is no longer allowed on school grounds.
