What will be cheaper in 2014

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Expect short term and permanent savings on several different items this year. Some things that are dropping in price are actually part of a bigger, downward trend.

Cars
Auto makers are fighting for sales and that means you will find better deals. Trucks in particular could really drop in  price according to CNBC finance.

Winter Coats
Normally, not a huge necessity here in Florida, but right now is when you will find coats and jackets at their cheapest. Some are 60 percent off or more.

Textbooks
These are permanently dropping in price in 2014. This stems from a court case allowing students to independently resell their books. Check ebay and amazon for deals on textbooks that could be as much as fifty percent off

TVs
If you missed Black Friday deals and you're shopping for a TV, NOW is the time to buy! According to fatwallet.com, most stores are clearing out models to make room for the new ones which will be arriving in the next few weeks.

Caribbean Travel
Last minute cruise deals are already down around 60 bucks per night. According to CNBC, expect cruises to stay cheaper in 2014 as many lines launch new routes and new ships.
