Woman's death in Southside home 'suspicious'

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 38-year-old Jacksonville woman's death was initially believed to be a suicide is now being investigated as a homicide, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Police were called to a home in the 3600 block of Eastbury Drive about 8:30 a.m. Sunday, where they found Kim Dorsey dead in a bedroom.

Homicide detectives went to the home and during the investigation found circumstances surrounding her death were suspicious, police said.

Detectives said they're working to find and identify anyone who may have information that will lead to the arrest of whoever is responsible for Dorsey's death.
