JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police say one person was shot multiple times in the leg in an apparent drive-by shooting on the Northside on Saturday.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said the victim was sitting outside with friends near McMillan and West 9th Streets when the incident happened.

Police did not say what may have prompted the shooting.
The victim was taken to Shands Medical Center in Jacksonville by friends. Police said the victim is expected to be okay.
Police are now looking for a white Lexus that may have been involved in the shooting.
