JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is searching for a man believed to have shot a woman in the buttock early Thursday morning in Northwest Jacksonville.
Officers were dispatched to 1416 West Sixth St. after someone called for help, according to JSO.
Officers located a woman who was shot. She was transported to UF Health Jacksonville. Her condition was not released.

Officers are currently searching for what they describe as a skinny black man between the ages of 25 and 30.
