JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police in Jacksonville are asking for the public's help in finding a man they said was involved in the killing of another man early Saturday morning.

Jermaine Mobley, 25, is being sought an a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

He is wanted in connection with the shooting death of 20-year-old Richard Davenport, whose body was found in the woods near the River Oaks Apartments on Harts Road on the Northside.

Investigators aren't sure how Davenport ended up in the woods, whether he walked there after being shot and collapsed or was carried there.

Some neighbors heard at least one gun shot, but police have not found any witnesses to the shooting.
