Michael White Jr. was taken to Shands Jacksonville Medical Center, where he died.

Police said White was standing at the corner of the intersection when he was approached by Tremaine Harris. They said Harris pulled a gun and shot White four times.

Police said the motive for the killing appears to be robbery. They believe White was on the corner selling drugs, and Harris knew that and knew he'd have money.

Police said more than four people came forward with information. Officers said they appreciate the help, especially in a neighborhood where they said drugs run rampant.
