JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A 31-year-old Jacksonville man was sentenced to life in prison Friday morning for his involvement in the 2006 death of a 19-year-old.

Benjamin Washington was convicted in October of second-degree murder for killing 19-year-old Chad Henderson.

Washington was originally convicted in 2007 and sentenced to life in prison for the murder. His conviction was reversed on appeal due to an error in the jury instructions.

In 2006, Washington and several others were at a party when Washington and Henderson had a discussion about Henderson's swastika tattoo. During the discussion, Washington pulled out a gun and shot Henderson.
