FLAGLER BEACH, Fla. - A 66-year-old Flagler Beach man was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Paul Miller was convicted by a Flagler County jury of second-degree murder with a firearm in May. He shot his neighbor Dana Mulhall five times, killing him.

Miller and Mulhall had been arguing over Miller's barking dogs.

Assistant State Attorney Jacquelyn Roys said the victim's family asked Circuit Judge David Walsh to impose the maximum sentence of life in prison.
