Man, 94, dies 5 days after Northside crash

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A 94-year-old man critically injured in a crash last week on the Northside has died.

Jacksonville police said Floyd Holden was involved in a crash about 5:45 a.m. Aug. 15. They said Holden was driving east on Armsdale Road and failed to stop at a stop sign, entering the path of an SUV heading south on Duval Road.

Holden was taken to a hospital in life-threatening condition. He died Wednesday.

Police said he was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. They said alcohol was not a factor.
