They said Matthew Willis was manufacturing methamphetamine.

Willis, who is a registered criminal, was taken into custody without incident and charged with five counts of possession of drugs and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Putnam County jail with bail set at $6,020.

The hazardous remnants were collected and disposed of, deputies said.

"We had received several complaints about illegal drug activity within a specific geographic location," Sheriff Jeff Hardy said in a news release. "We took the complaints seriously and ultimately we were able to apprehend the suspect."
