INTERLACHEN, Fla. – The Putnam County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man in connection with a TD bank robbery in Interlachen on Friday.
Detectives acting on a tip the Marion County Sheriff's Office received from an informant said they began hunting Fareed Johnson.

Johnson, after realizing investigators were looking for him, went to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office and turned himself in, deputies said.
They said he was interviewed and subsequently arrested in the robbery.
Deputies said Johnson returned the money taken during the robbery to investigators. The cash will be held as evidence.
