An officer was watching the rear parking lot of a business at 108 Anastasia Blvd. and saw a Toyota Tacoma matching the description police received from an earlier theft pull into the parking lot.

Police said the passenger got out of the truck and walked the parking lot, then pulled on the door handle of a car he didn't own or have permission to try to open.

Officers arrested Shawn Phillips. The driver of the truck was questioned and released.

Found in the truck were burglary tools, less than 20 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and six narcotic pills.

Phillips was arrested on charges of burglary to a conveyance, possession of dexamphetamine/amphetamine, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of burglary tools.
