HASTINGS, Fla. – A man and a boy were flown to Shands Hospital in Gainesville with severe burns late Friday afternoon.
According to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office, a 4-year-old boy and 22-year-old man showed up at Fire Station 8 in Hastings after they poured accelerant on a fire while burning debris and were burned by the flames at a home in Flagler Estates.

The burns were bad enough for both to be flown via TraumaOne to Shands Gainesville. Both were said to be in stable condition.
Their relationship is unknown.
The incident is being investigating by St. Johns Fire Rescue and the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.
No other information was immediately available.
