JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A jury convicted a 52-year-old Jacksonville man this week on two counts of lewd or lascivious molestation and one count of sexual battery.
In August 2009, it was discovered that Robert Cowan had inappropriately touched the then-4-year-old victim on multiple occasions since 2007.

Cowan also forced the child to perform sexual acts with him during this period of time.
Cowan faces mandatory life in prison without parole. He will be sentenced the week of Feb. 20.
