NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. – The Nassau County Sheriff's Office has detained a man who ran off into the woods near his home in the Callahan area after a domestic dispute.
A search took place near Old Dixie Highway and Dyal Road just after 3 p.m.

Sheriff Bill Leeper said no shots fired, and the man's wife was not harmed.
During the search, they were not sure if the man was armed.
Deputies said they had intermittent cellphone contact with the man and were trying to talk him into coming out of the woods. He was taken into custody just before 4 p.m.
