JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was shot early Monday morning on the Westside, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
The victim, in his late 20s, was shot in the chest and possibly the face, police said. He was shot while in his car but exited the vehicle and stumbled over, police said.

He man's identity is unknown, but sources say he was responsive at the scene and was taken to Shands Jacksonville Medical Center.
