Man sought in Westside bank robbery

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are looking for a man who robbed a Bank of America near Roosevelt and Lake Shore boulevards on Monday morning.

No one was hurt, but the robber escaped on foot.

Police said the man is 6 feet 1 inch tall, thin and between 35 and 40 years old. He was wearing a long tan jacket with a hoodie beneath it, and a green hat with a tan bill.

The teller did not see a gun but said the man implied he had one. He used a note demanding money that he took with him when he left, police said.
