When deputies arrived at about 8:30 a.m., they said Hodge fled the home.

Deputies established a perimeter in the area and began searching for Hodge. K9 units from the Sheriff's Office and the Florida Department of Corrections spent about three hours tracking Hodge.

He was found near River Rise Park and taken into custody, then booked into the Columbia County Detention Facility without incident.

Hodge is also charged now with resisting arrest without violence. He's being held without bail.
