Man steals deodorant, cookies from dollar stores

Police looking for burglar

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man who stole deodorant and cookies from two separate dollar stores is being sought by police.

Jacksonville police said the man used a cinder block to smash the glass front door of a Dollar General in the 6800 block of Wilson Boulevard about 3:40 a.m. Nov. 3. Police said the man went in and stole four cans of Axe Body Spray.

The same man was seen on surveillance using the same method to break into a Family Dollar in the 6300 block of Wilson Boulevard at 11 p.m. Oct. 31. He stole a pack of Soft Batch cookies from that store.
