ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The Florida Medical Examiner Commission met in St. Augustine on Wednesday to discuss the future of Dr. Valerie Rao.
The board has not yet recommended reappointment of Rao, the Fourth Judicial Circuit Medical Examiner.
Rao has been under fire as the result of complaints filed by staffers.
A search committee has been formed, headed by State Attorney Angela Corey.
Gov. Rick Scott has told the commission he wants to see more names submitted for the post.
